The Street-Singer's Greeting- Creator Unknown
O do you seek sweet merriment,
On these shiny stony roads?
Well you shan't go far to find the joy,
Amongst these bars and fine abodes!
For on these raggedy Hamlet streets,
You shall find many great singers such as we!
Toss us a dime for our melodies,
then take a step back and hear us with glee!
Watch O stranger as we fiddle away,
On a ballad so worthy of your praise,
Hear the great tales sowed in our song,
And if you've heard it all before, then please sing along!
O passers hear our merry harmony,
Before we take our bow and take our leave!
But if you want to see great singers like we,
Then look no further than these old Hamlet streets!
